A few days ago, we told you about one of the most interesting Ford Broncos to hit the auction block in a long time: the very first production Ford Bronco Raptor, serial number 00001.

Now the hammer has fallen.

Bronco Raptor VIN 001 sold for $105,000 on Bring a Trailer on September 24 after 36 bids.

And that final price makes this story even more interesting.

From $350,000 to $105,000​

This isn't the first time Bronco Raptor #1 has crossed an auction block.

When the first production Bronco Raptor was auctioned at Barrett-Jackson in 2022, it brought an incredible $350,000.

There's an important distinction, however: that was a charity auction, with proceeds benefiting the National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound. So it shouldn't be treated as a normal market-value transaction.

The Bronco appeared at auction again in January 2023 and sold for $159,500.

Now, in September 2026, it has changed hands again:

That's a $54,500 drop from its 2023 sale price, despite the Bronco adding only about 20 miles since that auction.

And It Still Has Only 99 Miles​

That's what makes the $105,000 result particularly interesting.

This isn't a Bronco Raptor that has spent four years bouncing off rocks and throwing rooster tails through the desert.

The odometer shows just 99 miles.

It's finished in Code Orange over Blue Onyx leather and suede and packs the familiar twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 producing 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque.

It also has the Lux Package, Interior Carbon Fiber Package, forged 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, 37-inch BFGoodrich tires, Fox live-valve dampers, locking front and rear differentials and the hardware that made the Bronco Raptor such a monster when Ford introduced it.

But none of those features are really why this particular Bronco is special.

It's that number:

00001.

Did the Buyer Actually Get a Bargain?​

That's where things get interesting.

A new 2026 Bronco Raptor starts around $80,000 before destination and options. Meanwhile, other used Bronco Raptors have sold considerably below the $105,000 paid for VIN 001.

So the buyer clearly paid a collector premium.

But how much is being the first one worth?

Apparently, in September 2026, the auction market's answer was roughly $105,000.
