Ford Cuts More Standard Equipment From the 2027 Bronco Sport Badlands
That Lower Price Is Starting to Make a Lot More Sense
When Ford revealed pricing for the 2027 Bronco Sport, there was actually some good news for Badlands buyers.The 2027 Ford Bronco Sport Badlands carries a base MSRP of $36,760 before destination, a $505 reduction compared with the previous model year.
That's something we don't hear very often these days: a new model year actually getting cheaper.
But there's another side to that story.
Ford has also removed a surprising amount of equipment that used to come standard on the Badlands.
And in several cases, if you want those features back, you're going to have to buy an optional package.
Goodbye Power Driver's Seat
One of the most noticeable changes happens as soon as you sit down.
The Badlands previously included an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat.
For 2027, the standard Badlands gets a six-way manually adjustable driver's seat instead.
Want the upgraded seating arrangement?
You'll need to move into the optional Badlands Premium Package.
And the power seat isn't the only thing moving there.
Dual-Zone Climate Control Is No Longer Standard
The Badlands also loses its standard Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control.
For 2027, that feature becomes part of the Badlands Premium Package.
The auto-dimming rearview mirror has also been removed from the Badlands standard-equipment list.
