The Feud All-Terrain Rally 2025

The Feud began in 2024 as a Bronco vs. Jeep Car Show and Rally to honor the legacy of Clinton E. Layne, veteran and retired coal miner. Despite limited means, Clinton dedicated his life to providing for his community and feeding those in need.
At our inaugural event, we raised enough funds and food donations for the Sprigg Freewill Baptist Church Youth Food Ministry to feed 30–40 children for three months. Our 2025 goal: feed kids for an entire year!
This year, The Feud has grown into the All-Terrain Rally, welcoming all capable, high-clearance 4x4 vehicles (excluding side-by-sides).
Event Highlights 
- Trail Rides: Scenic gravel roads to extreme off-roading with steep inclines and rock challenges.
- Car Show – Show & Shine: Non-biased judging, tons of awards for all makes and models.
- Halloween Costume & Rig Decorating Contest: Categories include Scariest, Funniest, Cutest, Best All-Around.
- Pup Parade
: Dress up your pup or show off their tricks! - Vendors & Food Trucks: Gear for all types of off-roaders + delicious eats. Explore local Matewan shops too!
- Flex Ramp Competition & Mud Course: Push your ride to the limit.
- Giveaways, Raffles & 50/50: 100% of proceeds support the Sprigg Freewill Baptist Church Youth Food Ministry.
Important Info to Know 
- GMRS Radios Required for trail rides. Limited cell service.
- Download Offline Maps before arrival.
- Pack Layers: Temps can swing from 40s in the morning to 80s midday. Boots recommended.
- Know Your Limits: Choose trails suited to your skill and vehicle. Guides will assist.
