Just signed up here — good to see a place that isn’t buried in social media noise.
I’ve been wrenching on my ‘74 Bronco out here in York, PA. It’s nothing fancy: 302, 3-on-the-tree, Dana 44 up front, 9-inch rear, and a whole lot of trail miles under it. It’s not a show queen, and I like it that way. Steel body, no fancy wrap, and enough scratches to prove it gets used.
Still hitting trails when I can — Rausch Creek a few times a year, and some private land up north. Been debating whether to finally swap to a 5-speed or just stick with the old 3-speed for nostalgia’s sake.
Anyone else out there still running a first-gen off-road? Or am I the last holdout not in a Gen 6?
