Bronco on the Rise: 2025 Sales Smash Records in Q2
The Ford Bronco is making serious waves in 2025. With 39,468 units sold in Q2 (April–June), the Bronco posted a massive 51.3% increase over the same quarter last year, when sales sat at just 26,086. That makes this the best sales quarter for the full-size Bronco since its reintroduction in 2021.For the first half of 2025, Ford has already moved 72,063 Broncos, up 43.7% year-over-year.
Why the Sudden Surge?
Interestingly, this spike comes without a full redesign. Ford hasn't rolled out a major facelift—yet—but it has added enough new features and trim packages to get buyers excited again:
- New Packages:
- Free Wheeling Package
- Black Appearance Package
- Stroppe Special Edition
- Interior Upgrades:
- Standard 12-inch digital cluster
- Rear climate vents (on 4-door models)
- Upgraded to 12-speaker B&O sound system
- Sasquatch Tweaks:
- New, quieter Goodyear tires
- Massive Price Cut:
- Over $10,000 off the Bronco Raptor
Bronco vs Wrangler: Still a Close Race
While the Bronco’s momentum is impressive, Jeep’s Wrangler isn’t backing down. In Q2 2025, Jeep sold 47,669 Wranglers, up 23% over last year, still beating the Bronco by 8,201 units. For the year so far, the Wrangler holds a lead with 85,613 units sold. But the gap is closing—down from a 27,080-unit lead in mid-2024 to just 13,550 units this year.
| Model | Q2 2025 Sales | H1 2025 Sales |
|---|---|---|
| Ford Bronco | 39,468 | 72,063 |
| Jeep Wrangler | 47,669 | 85,613 |
Bronco Sport: The Sleeper Hit
It’s not just the big Bronco pulling its weight. The 2025 Bronco Sport is also having a breakout year. With 39,075 units sold in Q2 (up 38.6%), and 72,438 sold in the first half (up 21.1%), it’s proving to be a strong contender in the compact crossover arena.Compare that to Jeep’s Compass, which sold only 23,104 units in Q2, and 54,834 in H1. Even if you include leftovers like the Cherokee and Renegade, Ford dominates the segment.
| Model | Q2 2025 Sales | H1 2025 Sales |
|---|---|---|
| Ford Bronco Sport | 39,075 | 72,438 |
| Jeep Compass | 23,104 | 54,834 |
What's Driving Bronco Sport's Growth?
Unlike its big brother, the Bronco Sport did get a facelift for 2025, and it shows:
- New 13.2-inch infotainment screen
- 360-degree camera
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- More Co-Pilot360 Assist features
- Sasquatch Packagewith:
- 29-inch Goodyear all-terrain tires
